According to the latest rumors, Samsung plans to launch the Galaxy S23 FE this August alongside the company’s flagship foldable devices Galaxy Z Fold5 and Galaxy Z Flip5. This new information comes just after Samsung’s decision to skip the Galaxy S22 FE, which has caused many fans to look forward to the release of the Galaxy S23 FE. The upcoming ‘cheap’ premium phone is expected to be enjoyed by frugal consumers, offering high-end features at an affordable price.
But that’s not all Samsung has prepared for its fans this year. Leaked information suggests that the Galaxy Tab S8 FE may also appear at the August event.
It is said that the highly anticipated Galaxy Tab S9 series will also be introduced at the same Unpacked event. While it is unusual for Samsung to launch two large tablets at the same event, it seems plausible that the Tab S8 FE will be launched alongside the Galaxy S23 FE and series.
A previous Korean report had also claimed that the Galaxy Tab S8 FE could be introduced in August or September. If the rumors are true, the Galaxy Tab S8 FE could be the successor to the Tab S7 FE, which was released in May 2021. The model number of the tablet, which is said to have MediaTek chipset, LCD screen and Stylus support, is said to be ‘SM-X506B’. While some are skeptical of the veracity of these sources, Samsung has a history of surprising fans with surprise announcements at Unpacked events.
