Samsung launches Galaxy S23 and S23 Ultra Enterprise Edition

Samsung has announced the launch of the Galaxy S23 Enterprise Edition in Australia, aimed at providing companies with more advanced enterprise tools. Enterprise Edition models are not different from normal S23 models in terms of hardware, but have additional features that meet business needs. It is important to note that only the Galaxy S23 and S23 Ultra variants are available, the Plus model is not included in the Enterprise Edition.

One of the standout features of the Galaxy S23 Enterprise Edition is the one-year subscription to Samsung Knox Suite, which provides multi-layered protection against malware, hacking and other cyber threats. The suite also allows IT departments to remotely manage fleets of phones, distribute device updates and configurations, and analyze and retrieve information about the status of phones and tablets in the field, among other things.

In addition to the Knox Suite, Enterprise Edition models come preloaded with cloud-based productivity tools from Microsoft and Google, making it easy for companies to manage their business on the go. However, it is important to note that editing Microsoft Office documents still requires a license.

Galaxy S23 Enterprise Edition models will be available for two years after launch, with Samsung providing critical operating system updates and security patches for five years. Pricing details of the Enterprise Edition models have not been disclosed, but are likely to be purchased via bulk orders, with each company negotiating their own deal.

“Businesses need devices that are not only powerful and secure, but also easy to use and manage,” said Harry McGregor, Vice President, Mobile Experience, Samsung Electronics Australia. Galaxy S23 Enterprise Edition is designed to meet these needs and provide businesses with a device that is not only secure but efficient to manage their business on the go.
