A anthropicartificial intelligence company founded by former employees OpenAI, presented to the public its chatbot with artificial intelligence named Claude. According to the company, this virtual assistant has capabilities similar to ChatGPT from OpenAI, but with one significant difference: early adopters report that Claude is “more secure from harmful outcomes” and provides a “smoother and more enjoyable experience”.

Anthropic, like OpenAI, has a solid technology backing: in February, Google invested $300 million in it. The chatbot developed by the company, similar in functionality to ChatGPT, is able to provide summaries, answer questions, help with writing and generating codes.

In addition, users can customize the tone, personality, and behavior of the virtual assistant, which appears to be a broader approach than the “creative, balanced, and precise” options offered by the Bing chatbot.

Notion, Quora and DuckDuckGo tested Claude

Anthropic offers two subscription options for Claude: Claude Instant and Claude-v1. Claude Instant is optimized for low latency, high throughput use cases and costs 1/6th the price of the Claude family. Prompt, with a capacity of 9,000 tokens, costs $0.43 per million characters, while Output costs $1.45 per million characters.

On the other hand, Claude-v1 is optimized for superior performance on tasks that require complex reasoning and is considered the best Anthropic model. In addition, from 9,000 Prompt tokens are offered at $2.90 per million characters, with withdrawals at $8.60 per million characters.
