The Samsung Galaxy M54 is a fairly balanced phone in its technical features. The panel is Super AMOLED with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 6.7-inch diagonal display, all with Full HD+ resolution. It is a perforated panel with pretty well used bezels.
Its heart is an Exynos 1380 manufactured on the 5 nanometer process. It should be a relatively similar SoC with the MediaTek 1080 and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+. It’s not yet clear what One UI will look like, but 8GB of RAM in both 128 and 256GB configurations should help with anything.
The key is in its massive 6,000mAh battery. It is one of the largest batteries in the mid-range, along with a 25W fast charging system. There’s no need to rush too much when this phone is focused on moderate use for two or three days. We do not have wireless charging.
The photography section is configured with a 108-megapixel main camera, so the results are promising. The other two cameras have little ambition: we find an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. At the software level, it is highly compatible with Android 13 running under One UI 5.1. It lacks 5G connectivity, dual-band WiFi or the latest version of Bluetooth.
This Samsung Galaxy M54 aims to reach the global market, but its price is not listed yet. It will be sold in silver and blue colors and as a single version. 8GB of RAM and 256GB. We will update this article with information regarding its price and availability in Europe.
