A recent report has leaked the specs of the upcoming Asus ROG Phone 7. This suggests that the smartphone will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset along with other advanced performance-oriented hardware befitting a gaming flagship.

Now, a new leak from SnoopyTech has revealed live images of the ROG Phone 7. According to the leaked images, the upcoming ROG Phone 7 will have a similar design to its predecessor, the ROG Phone 6. The back of the phone will be white with a cutout for graphics and matrix lighting. The front of the device will have slightly thick bezels and a front-facing camera positioned on the right side of the top panel.

There are dual speakers on the edges of the top and bottom bezels, while the USB Type-C port and 3.5mm headphone jack are on opposite sides of the bottom edge. Finally, the power and volume buttons are located on the right side of the phone.

Asus ROG Phone 7 specs (rumors)

The new ASUS ROG Phone 7 is expected to feature a massive 6.78-inch E4 AMOLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate and Full HD+ resolution. It is likely to have an under-display fingerprint scanner. The phone is expected to be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen2 processor, LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. Spotted on Geekbench with 16GB of RAM.

The device is said to run on Android 13 and ROG UI. The vanilla model will have a 32-megapixel front camera and a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 5-megapixel camera. ROG Phone 7 is expected to pack a 6,000mAh battery with 65W fast charging. It will have an IP54 waterproof and dustproof body that will weigh less than 240 grams.

Rumors have it that the base model of the ROG Phone 7 will cost around $580 and will be available on April 13 in various markets including the US, China, Taiwan, and India. Leaked images of the device show that it will have the same design as the previous model, with a white back panel and a matrix cutout for the backlight. The phone is also expected to have dual speakers, a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a power and volume button on the right edge.
