We have a monstrous new mobile player on our side. HE ASUS ROG Phone 7 It comes from a long line of devices aimed at a very specific audience, this time accompanied by a very specific module: the fan.
The so-called Aeroactive Cooler 7 is actually more than that because it has two speakers next to the fan. We are facing a terminal that has the ambition to be the best possible option for gamers, and of course there are ballots for that.

A performance beast
The new terminal in the ROG Phone family comes in a design that combines two colors: one with a translucent coating and the other with matte glass with the ROG logo on it.
In this back we have a unique backlighting system for the logo. Aura RGB provides access to up to 8 predefined backlight modes. ASUS ROG Phone 7 Ultimate is a special edition only available in white and features a ROG Vision PMOLED backlight system.
However, where it gets interesting is in the specs. We are in front of a mobile phone. Snapdragon 8 Generation 2 Thanks to the X Mode technology, which manages the maximum performance and maximum efficiency modes developed by this manufacturer, it can operate at 3.2 GHz.
This SoC is accompanied by up to 16GB of RAM in LPDDR5X modules with a massive maximum transfer rate of up to 8,533Mbps. We can also go for UFS 4.0 storage up to 512GB that aims to offer ultra-fast access to information.
The 6.78-inch AMOLED display keeps the diagonal of its predecessor and we have a touch sampling rate of 720 Hz with brightness of up to 1,500 nits, refresh rate support up to 165 Hz and a touch delay of 23 ms.
In this case, the cameras are not the mainstay of the experience, but we have two sensors that will undoubtedly be compatible: the main sensor, the 50 MP Sony IMX766 and the 12 MP ultra-wide angle. On the front we have a 32 MP sensor. The 6,000 mAh battery needs to be charged with a 65 W adapter.
Everything you need to play much and well
This terminal has X Sense technology based on an AI pattern recognition system, during which important events are detected during gaming sessions. This can trigger notifications to make better decisions. On the same basis we also have X Capture, which tries to record key moments in the game.
It is also not necessary to have a separate game controller: here ASUS highlights the features of its system. AirTriggers, two ultrasonic buttons offering “console-level” control thanks to support for nine different gestures. Vibration customization also makes touch control more immersive during gameplay.
With GameCool 7’s thermal structure consisting of several layers, cooling goes one step further, among which the fast-cycle steam chambers stand out, which ensures that the temperatures that occur during intense gaming sessions are kept constant for a certain period of time.
In fact, ASUS emphasizes that this free cooling system is sufficient for maximum 30-minute sessions. If we want to play for more than an hour, the ideal one Aeroactive Cooler 7an optional module purchased separately.
This accessory is attached to the terminal and besides cooling the device, it has powerful speakers with subwoofers to improve the listening experience. However, ASUS ROG Phone 7 has two Dirac-calibrated speakers that emit sound from the front. The 3.5mm slot is appreciated if we want a better sound experience.
