Google Pixel 7a is one of the most anticipated mobile phones of recent months. We are faced with a potentially notable refresh on the “affordable” mobile from this manufacturer, especially as it will come with very relevant news.
These include theoretical support for 90 Hz refresh rates, renewed cameras, or an expected wireless charging support. All these improvements, yes, can be a little more expensive.
This is stated on 9to5Google and here they reveal: Pixel 7a will cost $499 in the USIt’s a $50 increase from what the Pixel 6a had at launch.
In Spain, this price has been converted to 459 euros, which shows that if the hike is approved, the Pixel 7a may have a price of around 509, maybe 519 euros in our country.
The improvements mentioned above make this price increase reasonable to some extent: together with the new SoC (El Tensor G2), the main camera is expected to switch from using the traditional 12 MP sensor to 64 MP. There is no mention of the previous rumor of a potential release with 256GB capacity.
The Pixel 7a is expected to be announced during the keynote event of the Google I/O 2023 developer conferences on May 10. According to analyst Jon Prosser, while a cell phone can be purchased the same day, It would be in stores a day later, on May 11.at least in the USA.
That would be interesting news considering it took a little over two months for the Pixel 6a to appear in stores after its presentation in the previous version of Google I/O. Soon we will leave doubts about all these unknowns.
