When is Cybertruck expected?

The company is currently working on equipping its production line in Texas with all the necessary equipment. Meanwhile, as Musk noted, copies in the “alpha version” are rolling off the assembly line to participate in testing.

The Tesla president hopes to deliver the first purchases to owners at an event scheduled for the end of the third quarter. He said this during a meeting with investors Wednesday.

Interestingly, when Musk was asked if he was ready to share the Cybertruck’s specs and price, he suggested keeping the intrigue until the pickup’s launch.

The presentation included images of the assembly process of the first pre-production Cybertruck samples, as well as a photo from the test phase in winter conditions. The set of procedures outlined by Tesla includes testing the new model in the winter environment in the final stage of preparation for mass production, so even this picture itself indirectly indicates the imminence of the moment when the cars will be assembled for consumers.

This year, however, the turntable will still be produced in small batches, and the possibility of large-scale production next year will largely depend on the availability of 4680 batteries in sufficient quantity and at an acceptable price.
