Microsoft has a dual-screen Surface Duo smartphone whose interface leaves much to be desired as Android was never developed with multiple displays. Windows may have more advantages from this software perspective, but making it ARM-based is a non-trivial task. However, some seem to have succeeded.
Gustave Mons, one of the developers, shared the results of his work on installing Windows 11 on the Surface Duo. The system works on the device, although not very well. The main weakness is the support of the touchscreen. You can control the smartphone only with the mouse.
On Surface Duo, you can browse the web through the Microsoft Edge browser. Gustave added that at the moment Windows 11 can only be installed on the original Surface Duo and the Surface Duo 2 model is not yet supported.
