Samsung Electronics has started the sale of its new low-cost Galaxy A series smartphone. The new model is called the Samsung Galaxy A24.

Vietnam became the first region where users can purchase the Galaxy A24. There, the smartphone is priced at $276 for the version with 6GB RAM and 128GB flash memory and $297 for 8/128GB. Those who order before May 15 get a $12 coupon and 50% off a 25W charger. Galaxy A24 is expected to appear in other regions gradually.

The smartphone is equipped with a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution (1080×2340 pixels) and 1000 cd/m² brightness, as well as a 50-megapixel triple main camera with optical image stabilization. In addition, 13 MP front camera, MediaTek Helio G99 SoC, 5,000 mAh battery, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, microSD memory card slot and 3.5 mm audio jack, 4G LTE and NFC support are also among the features.
