The popular premium Oppo Reno series with minimal range will get an update soon. The brand is said to launch the Oppo Reno 10 series in China soon and the Reno 10 Pro+ will be the top model. On the eve of the launch, an alleged image showing the design of the device was leaked online.
The leak comes from a Weibo whistleblower (定焦眒). The visualization corresponds to the leaked diagrams revealed in December 2022. This time around, the brand is apparently making a major design change, opting for a pill-shaped camera module that houses a total of three cameras and an LED flash.
The rear is curved and looks pretty clean, especially with the glossy black color scheme. However, this design definitely feels like a step back from its previous predecessors. The screen is also curved with ultra-thin bezels and a centered hole for the camera. A recent certification listing also revealed that the smartphone will feature 100W fast charging.
The upcoming Reno 10 Pro+ smartphone is said to have a sleek design with a plastic bezel in the middle. It could feature a 6.74-inch curved-edge OLED display with 1.5K resolution. Security features will likely include an under-display fingerprint scanner.
The device is expected to run on a low-frequency variant of the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset paired with 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB or 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
The camera setup on the Reno 10 Pro+ may include a 32-megapixel front camera and a rear camera system with a 50-megapixel main lens with OIS, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 64-megapixel telephoto lens. . To improve photo performance, the device may also include a proprietary MariSilicon X NPU processor.
According to reports, the Reno 10 Pro+ may contain a 4,700 mAh battery and support 100 W charging, but wireless charging may not be available. The device can run Android 13 and the latest ColorOS.
