As the name of the phone is unknown, the publication speculated that it could be called the Nokia XR30, the successor to the Nokia XR20 that was released in 2021. The publication has leaked all the important information regarding the device’s specs in the new report. It was also revealed that the device will be called Nokia XR21 5G when it is released.
According to the report, the Nokia XR21 5G will have a 6.49-inch IPS LCD panel with a Full HD+ resolution of 1080×2400 pixels and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. The screen will be protected by a layer of Gorilla Glass Victus.
The XR21’s screen will host a 16-megapixel selfie camera. At the back, there will be a 64-megapixel OmniVision primary camera with f/1.79 aperture and an 8-megapixel optical zoom sensor that will provide up to 8x digital zoom. The device will be able to record 1080p video.
Snapdragon 695 will power the Nokia XR21 5G. It will come with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It will be powered by a 4,800mAh battery that will support 33W fast charging via the USB-C port. In terms of connectivity, it will offer options like dual nano SIM slots, eSIM support, 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS and 3.5mm audio jack. It will have a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The Nokia XR21 5G will have an IP68 rated casing and will weigh around 235 grams. It will run on Android 12 and will receive OS updates until May 2026. The device will also receive security updates until 2027.
