Bad investment: Samsung Galaxy S22 drops three times more than iPhone 13

According to SellCell, the largest platform for buying and selling used smartphones, the Galaxy S22, which launched in February of this year, has already lost 47%. Not far behind, Google Pixel 6 has lost 42% of its value. It’s the smallest loss for the iPhone 13 since its launch in September 2021, with its value down just 16%. Meanwhile, last year’s research showed that the iPhone 13 is potentially the least underrated Apple smartphone.

In two months, the Galaxy S22 + 5G 128 GB model lost about 58% in price. This is not very good news for smartphone owners due to its high cost. In the future, they will have to be even more generous if they decide to sell their Galaxy S22 and buy something new.

The iPhone 13 Pro Max 128GB is the best in this rating. This model only loses 3.8% in price in its “like new” condition. Depreciation usually occurs two months after the start of the sale. But there is one interesting feature – the iPhone not only retains its value better than any Android smartphone, but also regains its value after the second month. This is also the case with the Google Pixel 6, but it has depreciated significantly.
