Chinese technology giant Xiaomi has announced that it is collaborating with the legendary German camera and lens manufacturer Leica. The aim of the collaboration is to create the best camera phone in the world.

The device will be available in July this year. Experts believe that this is the flagship model Xiaomi 12 Ultra. The hardware basis of the smartphone will be a single-chip system Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 Qualcomm. The amount of RAM will be 8 or 12 GB, flash memory – 256 or 512 GB.

According to rumors, the smartphone will be equipped with a rear camera with Sony IMX989 main 50-megapixel sensor. This sensor has an optical stabilization system. The rear module also has an ultra-wide-angle 48-megapixel sensor and a TV with a periscope lens and 120x digital zoom.
