The firm is launching this Xiaomi TV A2 with LCD panel and peripheral LED backlight. With a 4K UHD panel and not confirmed whether the panel type is VA or IPS, Xiaomi provides: TV occupies 90% of the DCI-P3 color space. However, we are talking about a television with 8 bit + FRC and a natural frequency of 60 Hz, so it is far from the highest-end offerings that include 10 bits and frequencies up to 120 Hz.
One of its main claims is its addition. Dolby Vision as a supported HDR type alongside HDR10 and HLG. While the maximum brightness rendering of your panel is not yet known, we do know that it will be compatible with high dynamic range content. In addition, the TV has a quad-core ARM Cortex-A55 chip with Mali G52 MP2 graphics logic.
xiaomi keep betting on Android TV 10 as operating systemAlthough the TV F2 was launched with Fire OS, the latter hints that it’s a special range, given the growing interest in Amazon’s operating system. This means that in addition to being able to download all kinds of apps and enjoy streaming content, we can also send content from external devices via Chromecast and have Google’s voice assistant.
The television has sound system up to 24 W RMS, compatible with Dolby Audio and DTS-HD. When it comes to connectivity, we have HDMI 2.0, USB 2.0, Ethernet, WiFi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0 ports. The absence of HDMI 2.1 inputs allows the TV to operate without eARC, in addition to high refresh rates in 4K and VRR, among other things.
