The authors emphasize that the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has set a maximum SAR (Specific Absorption Rate) of 1.6 watts per kilogram for consumer devices. Experts made an analysis and noted that many phones on the market exceed this figure. The most dangerous – according to the results of the tests – was named Motorola Edge, which has a SAR value of 1.79 watts per kilogram.

Second and third were the ZTE Axon 11 5G and OnePlus 6T with SAR values ​​of 1.59 and 1.55 watts per kilogram, respectively. Sony, Google and Oppo devices are also in the top ten.

According to journalists, the statistics presented by Bankless Times are thought-provoking. However, according to the FCC, there is currently no reliable scientific evidence of health problems caused by exposure to the radio frequency energy emitted by phones.

Media reporters asked smartphone manufacturers for comment, but only Google responded. “Our phones meet all legal requirements and compliance standards in the countries we distribute,” said a spokesperson for the company.
