Update supports both the standard model released in 2015 and the NVIDIA Shield TV Prois the most powerful multimedia player even today. This new version is now available to everyone.
NVIDIA offers 9.0.2 version of Shield TV to its users. This was a long-awaited update for the owners of this multimedia player, because Fixes some issues with the device since Android 11 Shield came to TV.
Issues fixed by this update include: Ability to display Dolby Vision compatible content on Philips TVs, something very requested by the community as there have been issues before. New notification system when connecting or formatting removable storage.
Fixes bug where AI scaling could not be changed in Netflix app (applies to SHIELD 2019 devices only).
Fixes an error where the surround sound system stopped working after playing Dolby Audio compatible content.
Increases file transfer speed.
Fixes an error when copying files from Mac over local network to removable storage in SHIELD.
Dual Shock 3 solves pairing issue for XBOX One S, XBOX Series S/X and Switch Pro controllers.
this update Also fixes an issue with Google Play gameswill hang and prevent the device from turning off over the HDMI CEC connection.
Update It should already appear in the notification panel of the Shield TV.. However, the company has released this new version gradually to reach all users, so it may not appear for a few days.
