Last week we talked about how Amazon is rolling out new devices in its Fire TV lineup. A revamped version of the Fire TV Cube and the arrival of a new remote with more functions and customizable Alexa Pro. A series including the brand TVs with their own operating system.
new family Fire TV Omni QLED responds to its name. These are 65 and 75 inch LCD televisions with the operating system Fire TV, HDR10, HLG, Dolby Vision IQ and HDR10 + Adaptive compatible.

With Alexa, Fire TV and an affordable price
The Amazon Fire TV Omni QLED television lineup consists of: 65 and 75 inch televisionsCompatibility with LED LCD panel and HDR10, HLG, Dolby Vision IQ and HDR10+ Adaptive image enhancement systems.
Also, Amazon has they have what they call “environmental experience”, so they can be used to display digital artworks in the style of Samsung’s The Frame series when not in use. To use this feature, it uses a built-in sensor to detect when a person is in the room.
These are cheap models, so they won’t have some of the features we find in high-end TVs. In this sense, the panel is limited to 60 Hz refresh rate and for example we will not find an HDMI 2.1 portAlthough it has eARC support.
Being Amazon TVs, you can’t miss it Alexa as the control center of the device. Thus, routines and skills can be created to control different devices integrated into the connected home, for example with the assistant.
Moreover, you can see Alexa widgets on the screen, adapted, especially for television. That way, they’re visible, from notes, to other devices we connect, to news information, and even a widget that offers entertainment recommendations based on the day’s most popular video titles.
Price and availability
The new Fire TV Omni QLED series is available in 65 and 75 inch sizes at a price. $800 and $1100 in the United States and later in Canada, respectively.
