The payment model in paid memberships that Apple offers to application developers causes iOS applications to become more expensive. Its biggest rival, Google, is actually one of the companies developing for the iOS operating system. Why is YouTube Premium more expensive on iPhones and iPads?

As we said at the beginning, the reason for these price differences is not Google or YouTube. The paid application standards that Apple regulates for developers are generally iOS apps are more expensive why is this happening. While some developers offer free applications on Android, they offer the same application for iOS for a fee just because the way of earning has changed.

• Step 4: If you subscribe to YouTube Premium in this way, instead of paying 40 TL every month, you will pay 30 TL,
  • For family membership you pay 40 TL instead of 60 TL.

We believe Google is evaluating Apple’s vulnerabilities so as not to alienate iOS users from YouTube Premium. For this reason, it seems impossible to increase the price of the memberships you create, as we explained.
