A private company authorized by the railway held a test for the vacancy on August 22. More than 600 candidates participated in the exam, which can be entered with fingerprints.

One of them was Manish Kumar, who was so insecure about his knowledge and skills that he decided to send a friend, Rajaguru Gupta, instead. Candidate for the scam to pass and the scanner to recognize the fingerprint registered at the local police station, put your finger in the hot pan and then cut off the peeling skin with a scalpel. After that, the other boy – both in their early 20s – stuck a fake fingerprint on his finger.

As it turned out, this did not help: fingerprint not recognized during scanning even after a few tries. Gupta caught the attention of the examiners as he tried to put his hand in his pocket. They asked him to treat his hands with an antiseptic, and after that someone else’s skin was stripped from his finger.

Investigators noticed the deception and called the police. Kumar and Gupta are now facing identity fraud and conspiracy charges. They were arrested and now both face fines and jail time.
