On Twitter, we receive a lot of information throughout the day. Often we see some tweet that gets stuck in our memory, and when we try to find it later, we can no longer find it. To make your search easier, Twitter offers some very useful tools. One of them is advanced search.
In advanced search, you use smart filters to find specific tweets from users. You have the ability to segment searches by account, keywords, date range, location, tagging people, including replies and mentions, among others. See how it works:
one. Open Twitter on the web and enter your search term in the “Twitter Search” box in the upper right corner.
two. Click on the best search result that will appear below.
3. After opening the search page, click “Advanced Search» in the right side menu.
4. Clicking will open the advanced search menu. In field “The words” type in the words you remember in the tweets you want to find. You can still use other fields to include hashtags or exclude unwanted words, further filtering your search.
5. In field “Accounts” you can put @ the account you remember on Twitter. You can even include account mentions and replies.
6. AT “filters” option, you can choose to display only original tweets or tweets containing a link.
7. To refine – even more – your search, in “dates” you can still select a specific period to search. Once completed, click search.
eight. Ready. See tweets found by search.
By combining several fields in an advanced search, you use the tool wisely and filter the result even more. For example, you can search for tweets in English using the hashtag “#WorldCup” that were sent from Brazil in July 2014. A search will reveal tweets about that year’s World Cup.
