Ukraine’s Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov said on his Telegram channel that all residents of Ukraine will be able to use Starlink satellite internet.

As promised, we are taking swift steps to fully legalize the use of Starlink technology in Ukraine. NECEC, on the initiative of the State Special Service, has taken the first necessary decision providing:

• all categories of users are allowed to use subscriber satellite terminals of the SpaceX Starlink system for the period of martial law;
• To make changes to the Plan on the use of the Ukrainian radio frequency resource in order to regulate the operating conditions of the SpaceX Starlink system on the territory of Ukraine in accordance with this decision.

The permit will only be valid in time of war. The use of the system will be paid. The mounting kit is $550, the monthly fee is $110.
