Elon Musk was one of the founders of OpenAI, the company that created the ChatGPT tool that is talked about so much today. The company was founded in 2016, and involved Sam Altman and other investors who saw the importance of artificial intelligence for the future of humanity. After all, it is believed that many current problems will be solved not directly by us, but by machines.

It is machines that will be able to traverse an absurd amount of information and find a solution, whether biological or more simple in our daily lives. In the beginning, OpenAI was a non-profit organization in the newspapers, which Elon Musk agreed with and considered important for developing something secure at the time.

OpenAI’s mission from the beginning has been to help humanity in a transparent way. And while the ChatGPT tool is interesting and already helping people before it’s officially released to everyone, the company has been criticized for its lack of transparency, including by Elon Musk. The billionaire even joked on Twitter, saying that “OpenAI needs to be more open.”

In this tweet below, Musk says he left the project because he didn’t agree with some of the goals of the people involved, he didn’t agree with part of the team. In addition, he also explained that he needs more time to devote himself to Tesla Motors, which is increasing its investment in artificial intelligence. Tesla and OpenAI had already argued about the same employees, so it didn’t make much sense.
