Shooting in Texas: two young people were killed, five injured

U.S. authorities are investigating a shooting that left at least two dead and five injured in Yuma, Arizona, near the Mexican border.

The Yuma Police Department said all of the victims were men between the ages of 15 and 20.

Two victims, aged 19 and 20, were taken to the hospital, where they were pronounced dead.

Among the wounded, a 16-year-old boy is in serious condition, the rest of the wounded, also from gunshot wounds, have a favorable prognosis.

The incident occurred on Saturday evening, at 23:00 local time, during an unspecified gathering in the city of Yuma.

Police, who are investigating the incident, currently have no suspects in custody.

Investigators are currently interviewing several witnesses, according to CNN affiliate KYMA.
