Microsoft launched last Monday (15) the Phone Link app for users who own an iPhone. the ability to connect the device to a computer. This allows Windows 11 to connect to the device to be able to send messages via iMessage, make and receive calls, and view all device notifications right from the PC.



US company late last month already announced its interest in making the Phone Link app available to iPhone users. in the middle of March. A few weeks after the promise was made, the program was finally introduced to iPhone users, allowing them to deliver on the promise in time.

The tool is now available in 85 countries.

The new version of the Phone Link app is now available in 85 countries. and will be compatible with iPhone via Bluetooth for calls, text messages and alerts. Once a connection is established, the program has the ability to send messages via iMessage on Phone Link, capturing those coming over Bluetooth and forwarding them using the way Apple forces text messages to be sent to other iPhones.

“We hope that now that we have the ability to establish this PC/iOS phone connection, our Windows 11 users will never have to worry about missing an important call or message while focusing on their Windows PC. Once activated by a Windows 11 client, Phone Link for iOS will provide basic iOS support for calling, messaging, and accessing contacts.



The other features of Phone Link are relatively simple compared to the Android integration. You can make and answer calls, view your call history, and even view and reject phone alerts. The downside is the inability to open phone apps on PC, which makes usage a little more limited than some users would like.
