TP-Link strengthens its offer for Wi-Fi 7: the last goodbye to cable networks

Maybe you’re still using Wi-Fi 5 and haven’t made the jump to Wi-Fi 6. However, the technology industry doesn’t stand still and the next version of the wireless standard, Wi-Fi 7, is not only on the way, but some manufacturers already have solutions for sale, and before the responsible organization Wi-Fi Alliance published the final specifications. TP-Link has just strengthened its offer with two new network solutions, the Archer BE800 router and the Deco BE85 Mesh network adapters.

TP-Link Archer BE800

router Archer BE800 offers Wi-Fi speed up to 19 Gbps in three bands, stratospheric wireless performance that can fully replace wired networks. Its design is spectacular, with an integrated LED screen that offers users the option to display the time, weather information or personalized text. With over 3,000 graphics and emoticons to choose from, each user can customize their home network to reflect their unique style and preferences.

The router has eight high-performance internal antennas, which promises great coverage. The Archer BE800 is also very well equipped for cabling, with a 10 Gbps SFP+ optical WAN/LAN combo port, one 10 Gbps WAN/LAN port and additional 2.5 Gbps ports. Also very good in flexibility and expandability for different types of connections.

Tp link Deco BE85

Another presented device is Deco BE85 Mesh Wi-Fifor mesh networking, offering speeds of up to 22 Gbps in three bands. This system is able to use Wi-Fi 7 compared to the current standard, a bandwidth of 320 MHz, up to 4094 QAM amplitude modulation compared to the previous 1024, twice the number of spatial streams from 8 to 16 and improvements in MIMO, OFDMA function and in multi-link operation technology (MLO ), which adds multiple channels in different frequency bands simultaneously to improve network traffic.

The Deco BE85 Mesh system features eight high-gain antennas and 12 high-power EMFs. A package of three units promises to cover the area up to 900 square meters. In addition to wireless options, it includes a pair Ports for 10 Gbps LAN connection.

Prices

The entire network can be managed from a mobile phone using a special TP-LINK app, and both devices are equipped with HomeShield, which offers advanced network and Internet of Things protection. In some markets, they can already be booked with availability from June 1. The Archer BE800 is available for 599 dollarswhile the Deco BE85 Mesh stands 999 dollars (two units) and $1,499 with three units.

Very high priced to launch with Wi-Fi 7. It’s aimed at enthusiasts who want to stay ahead of the latest technology. We look forward to seeing them on the international market soon, as this wireless standard promises tremendous performance and a definitive goodbye to cables.
