South Korean manufacturer LG has released a new update for some Smart TVs released in 2020 by brand. The new firmware version is 4.41.35, which changes the webOS interface without completely updating the operating system.

Users will now be able to use a full screen interface more like webOS 6 (or webOS 21, according to the current nomenclature), providing more space for content suggestions and shortcuts for streaming apps. Previously, programs were separated by a horizontal bar only at the bottom of the screen.

In addition to the visual changes that the user will experience the most, the download contains some bug fixes and general performance improvements for navigation.

• LG UN80 4K LCD (43″, 50″, 55″, 65″ and 75″)
• LG UN74 4K LCD (43″, 50″, 55″, 65″ and 70″)
• LG UN73 4K LCD (43″, 50″, 55″, 65″, 70″ and 75″)
• LG UN71 4k LCD (43″, 49″, 55″, 65″, 70″ and 75″)

According to LG, the reason for the update is to reinforce the brand’s commitment to a longtime consumer, even though these TVs aren’t getting the full operating system in the latest version.
