The United States does not see any barriers to the supply of foreign weapons to Ukraine. This was stated by Pentagon spokesman John Kirby during a briefing on May 5. The Pentagon said the successful daily supply of American weapons and weapons to Ukraine proves this.
“Materials, weapons and supplies continue to be procured every day, including today. We see no sign of this complexity,” said John Kirby, spokesman for the US Department of Defense.
American weapons were delivered to the Ukrainian Armed Forces to resist the Russian invaders. In particular, the USA delivers 155 mm M777 howitzer systems to Ukraine. 155 mm towed guns were also included in the new military aid package.
It also includes 144 thousand ammunition and tractors for the transport of howitzers and other equipment. According to Pentagon spokesman John Kirby, as of May 5, the supply of the M777 howitzer is nearly complete, “80 out of 90 people are actually in Ukraine” scheduled for transfer.
The US is also working to get Ukraine to hit long-range enemy targets. According to the US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin, the Ukrainian side believes that the ability to hit the enemy from a great depth will be key in the next phase of the war with Russia. Ukraine may be interested in a set of American weapons capable of hitting targets at long distances. Source
