Remedy has yet to confirm the requirements for Alan Wake 2 for PC, but thanks to a leak, we got a chance to see quite a credible list which includes both minimum and recommended requirements. Before you jump into them, it’s important to note that this game will be exclusive to the Xbox Series X-Series S, PS5, and PC, which means that It will be more challenging than intergenerational transition titles.

On the other hand, this should also be kept in mind Alan Wake 2 will be an Epic Games Store exclusiveAlthough it is not clear if this will be total or temporary. The second would be ideal because it means we can also buy it on Steam within 6 months and a year. With this configuration we should be able to play fine in 1080p, whenever we adjust the graphic quality level. As I told you at the beginning of the article, this information adds up quite well, although in the end it is very likely that the game will run iso with slightly lower configurations.

• 16 GB of RAM.

This hardware should be enough to smoothly move the game in 1440p and the truth is that it is quite reasonable considering the current times and that today we can get a Radeon RX 6600 for just over 200 euros.

Alan Wake 2 Release Date and Price

Alan Wake 2 is officially confirmed to hit the market on October 17th, and it will be a simultaneous release on all the platforms we told you about at the beginning of this article. The console version will be for a price €59.99which means Epic Games Publishing hasn’t jumped on the €70 bandwagon.

The PC version will be available through the Epic Games Store for a price 49.99 euros, that means it will be ten euros cheaper than the console version. This is good news for PC gamers, who for now in many cases continue to enjoy cheaper games.
