Google has announced a new Gmail feature that will make it easier for us to find a specific email: main results. For a search, results that Google predicts best match what you’re looking for are highlighted.
Gmail’s best results are already enabling Gmail for Android and using machine learning to apply factors like date and other relevance factors to determine it. emails most likely to be what you’re looking for and show them to you in their respective sections, then all the additional results are just below.
Improved search with a bit of AI
This Mail search results in Gmail are not very goodwhich is a bit ironic because its creators are the same search engine that got to where it is by offering relevant results, among other things.
That said, searching in Gmail has always been a thing. real and strictly chronological order. This is a problem if you’re not clear on when an email you’re looking for is because you don’t know how long you have to keep scrolling. Now, Gmail will help you by highlighting a few results.

In our tests, it seems to prioritize emails marked as starred or from our contacts, which makes sense.
