The Brother MFC-J6959DW is a professional A3 large format inkjet printer that can handle paper rolls of up to 2.7 metres.

You can have advertising signs, posters or banners printed yourself with an expensive large format printer or at a print shop. Brother wants to make the price of such a solution more affordable. It works with more limited A3 formats with a maximum length of 2.7 metres, making it the size of a standard printer to place on your desk.

You can print banners using paper rolls. The Brother MFC-J6959DW also supports borderless printing and automatic cropping to the exact length, giving users a “finished” product.

According to Brother Belgium’s Peter Hanne, such a compact large format printer is a major breakthrough for the SME sector. “The SME can print, scan, copy and even fax – all with one device. Multiple and often more expensive devices are thus superfluous. The latest addition to our large format printer range opens up endless printing possibilities.”

When not printing on large format roll paper, the user can replace the paper in the tray with up to 500 sheets of A4 paper and continue printing in the sizes they want. The printer supports duplex printing up to A3 size. High-capacity ink cartridges support up to 6,000 black and 5,000 color pages.

The Brother MFC-J6959DW is available now and has a suggested retail price of €722.29 excluding VAT. The printer will also be included in the Brother Managed Print Services offering.
