24 Channels, according to numerous observations and checks of Ukrainian social network users, Twitter blocks not only individual people, but also entire cities, topics and events – they cannot be found in the search and seen in the news feed, writes 24 Channel.

What’s going on

  • In one case, the user could not find “Zaporizhia” via search. The “Recent” tab reported that nothing was found for the request. Everything is only when the author of the post starts working protection against sensitive content removed.
  • later another user confirmed these assumptions “Twitter has made its way to Instagram. Now some (everyone talking about the war) accounts have a “senset content” tag., – writes @eto_bim. Writer, once you sign up you will be “invisible to most accounts in the world” as the site automatically hides sensitive content – users are mostly not in the habit of going into settings and changing somethingPrefers basic settings.
  • Some users have started using special services that check a particular account for shadow ban. They probably run the page through various search parameters to discover the ban. I mean, dozens of people even said they couldn’t be found. For this reason, in one of the situations The author of the post states that Musk is hiding his Ukrainian accounts from Western audiences: If you search from a profile with all settings in English, the search will not yield any results. If you choose the Ukrainian interface, everything will be back to normal.
  • Most users report that they disappear from the feed.
  • There are much less excluded from the search, but among these most famous pages Ukrainian Twitter with a large number of followers (volunteers, activists, military, bloggers) posting information about fundraising for the Armed Forces, news about the Russian terrorist attack on Kakhovskaya HEPP and other crimes.
  • Among the pages that discovered shadow ban, – Dovzhenko Center, Ukrainian Art History, Jamala and thousands more. Instead, seamless can be found “Gosfilmfond Rossii” in Russian.
  • Even some users who don’t write about war, politics or Russia and have up to 100 followers report problems.

What to do with it?

Unfortunately, you can only fix the status of your feed at this time. To continue seeing blocked pages in your feed, go to Settings – Privacy & Security – Content you see – check the “Show potentially sensitive media” switch. After that, select “Search settings” below and uncheck the “Hide sensitive content” switch.

Elon Musk is spreading a downright lie by calling it a point of view

Interestingly, while Musk blocked the distribution of genuine Ukrainian testimonies about the terrorist attack at the Kakhovskaya HEPP, he also publishes it on its own page Tucker Carlson’s monologue that begins with the question “who blew up the dam” and then convinces the audience that Ukraine is to blame. It also refers only to hints, own doubts and guesses. According to him, although the destruction of the HEPP hurt Ukraine, it had a greater impact on Russia. Carlson calls the temporarily occupied Ukrainian territory “Russia”.

Who is Tucker Carlson?

He is a former journalist for the conservative Fox News channel. In April, he was fired from his long-time job hosting one of cable television’s most popular shows, Tucker Carlson Tonight. The reason for the dismissal is management’s concern over the host’s involvement in the lawsuit against Fox’s Dominion Voting System, as well as another lawsuit accusing Carlson and Fox of sexism and harassment. Now Fox is threatening to sue him on Twitter over the show’s Tucker, accusing him of violating the non-compete clause in the contract that prevents Tucker from running any competing programs until 2025.

But for now, Fox can’t shut up Carlson: The show’s 10-minute episode has already hit 103 million views and continues to go viral. Not only has Musk retweeted, but millionaire bloggers, Republican politicians, and Russia’s representative to the UN write Detector Media.

It would be great to have programs from all walks of the political spectrum on this platform!
Musk wrote on Twitter by retweeting the first episode of Carlson’s show, which he plans to present permanently.

At about the third minute Carlson starts talking about Volodymyr Zelenskyi, calling him “a sweaty and mouse-like comedian who is an oligarch”, as well as a “persecutor of Christians” and a “friend of BlackRock”.

In general, the episode is full of various manipulations and unconfirmed “facts” that the presenter conveys as fact by trying to remove the blame from Russia and transfer it to Ukraine.

He also cites GOP member Lindsey Graham, especially her last word, that the death of the Russians is the best thing the US has ever spent money on. Carlson criticized Graham, describing him as a death-thirsty man. It should be noted that Lindsey Graham herself denied saying this phrase. It was the result of a failed installation. The phrases “and the Russians are dying” and “the best thing we spend money on” belong to different time periods of the meeting and are not related to each other. Reuters reviewed the entire conversation and confirmed that there was no mention of the money spent in the part of the conversation that talked about the deaths of Russians.

Unfortunately for Elon Musk, it’s simply a lie. It seems that other opinions and voices should be silenced.
