During its own Adobe Summit, Adobe introduced the platform Firefly for business for. A business version of the generative AI model.
This more professional version can be adapted for learning; Companies can train the system with their own assets. According to Adobe, any employee – regardless of their creative talents – can create or copy instant images from a sample of text.
This development in itself is not a big surprise. By training Firefly with Adobe content, there are no copyright hurdles and this AI model is very well suited for commercial use anyway.
Firefly for Business is accessed through the general Firefly app, as well as through Creative Cloud or Adobe Express. Companies can also implement the platform in their own systems; By training the AI model with its own resources, Firefly learns to use the house style to deliver new images and text.
Adobe has not yet committed an amount to Firefly for Enterprise. Ashley Still, VP of Digital Media, confirmed that Adobe is making enterprise employee licenses generally available at a fixed price. The size and needs of each company are taken into account.
An exact launch date for the new platform is also not yet known, Adobe only stated that this will happen sometime after Firefly leaves the beta phase.
Adobe also recently launched the beta version of Generative Fill for Photoshop, an image generator powered by Firefly. More than 150 million pictures were taken in just two weeks.
