The previous air show was supposed to take place in 2021 but was canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
French President Emmanuel Macron personally flew to the air show by helicopter and watched the flight demonstration. He also examined Airbus’ latest development, the French Rafale fighter aircraft, the A321XLR.
This year the air show is held without Russian producers due to the war in Ukraine.
Some Ukrainian authorities and aviation companies are also expected to take part in the fair.
Currently, it is known that the French company Thales (TCFP.PA) has announced that it has signed a contract with Indonesia for the supply of 13 long-range airborne surveillance radars.
Later on Monday, a demonstration flight of the American fighter F-35 is expected.
According to the news of Ukrinform, the Israeli Sky Sonic interceptor missile, which has been under development for about three years, will be shown at the Paris Air Show.
