What to expect
The new phones are powered by Snapdragon, part of Qualcomm. The two chip companies have been working together with Sony for longer than today. The latest flagship of this partnership was the Xperia 1 V. Under the mobile hood was the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Mobile Platform.
This series will include not only premium phones, but also high-end and mid-range devices. In the latter category, we’ve only recently seen the Xperia 10V, which is also equipped with Snapdragon technology.
Maybe this renewed collaboration means we’ll find the recently proposed iSIM in Sony devices in the future, who knows.
