Telegram-bot @RuAssetsBot began its work in Ukraine to search for Russian assets, a joint venture of the Ukrainian Ministry of Internal Affairs and Galina Yanchenko, a board member of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

According to Ukrinform, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine informed about this on Facebook.

“With the help of a bot, anyone who has information about the assets or property of sanctioned Russians can report this to the authorities,” the Interior Ministry said in a statement.

Ukrainian Minister of Internal Affairs, Denis Monastyrsky, emphasized that anyone with knowledge of any of the Russian assets can report it via this Telegram bot – @RuAssetsBot.

Authorities will continue to work on sanctions or confiscation in favor of the Ukrainian state. It is possible to report both Russian assets in Ukraine and assets abroad. “Russia must pay the full price for the war waged by the Putin regime in Ukraine,” he said.

The developers, for their part, call for reporting on the properties of sanctioned Russians so that in the future this information will be processed by law enforcement agencies and assets will be collected to restore the Ukrainian economy.

In response, Yanchenko explained that from now on, anyone with information can attack the Russian economy only from their smartphones.

“Any Russian presence operating in Ukraine is their cruise missiles, artillery shells and ammunition. There are still many Russian businesses that are directly or covertly behind active members of the apartheid regime. Finding and seizing to restore the Ukrainian economy needed,” he said.

According to him, most of these people – members of the Russian regime – hide their “wealth” in offshore jurisdictions, write about fictitious persons or relatives, cover up any traces of their property.

“The @RuAssetsBot telegram bot will help to collect and systematize all the information about such ‘hideouts’,” he said.

As mentioned, messages through this Telegram bot will be completely anonymous.

As Ukrinform reported, on April 1, YouControl introduced a platform to detect hidden Russian and Belarusian assets.
