Israeli company UVision, known for its HERO family of barrage munitions, is launching a new, heavier, longer-range product line. The company aims to create portable systems that will replace expensive long-range missiles.

HERO-1250 has a flight range of over 200 km and can fly for up to 10 hours with a warhead weighing 50 kg and over 155 kg. Intelligence modules and electronic warfare systems can be installed on the drone.

The HERO-900 lighter drone weighs 110kg and has a 30kg warhead, while the kamikaze drone has a flight range of over 150km or 6 hours of flight time. Both barrage munitions are launched from a ramp.

The HERO-1250 and HERO-900 are in development, but the mid-range HERO-90 is already available. Its weight has been reduced from 18 kg to 9 kg on the HERO-120, and its range and durability have been increased from 60 km to 40 km on the HERO-120. The combat part is only 1.5 kg, but this is quite enough to neutralize the main battle tanks, especially when defeating them in attack mode from above.

The ammunition of the HERO-120 unmanned aerial vehicle, which entered service, was recently tested in new harsh conditions; Tests were conducted in arctic temperatures in Finland, and other tests were conducted in India, where the kamikaze drone was used at altitudes of up to 5500 m.
