Japanese personnel company Pasona and UN training institute UNITAR will hold professional online courses on information technology education for Ukrainian women who left Ukraine due to the war started by Russia.

In the Memorandum of Understanding signed in Tokyo by Pasona Group chairman Yasuyuki Nambu and UNITAR executive director Nikhil Seth, the parties pledged to work together to create conditions for the economic independence of women, especially those in difficult living conditions.
We are currently talking about training courses in the digital space for about 500 Ukrainian women fleeing the war in Poland, lasting about six months, from September of this year to March of next year. According to the agreement, Pasona will provide the training content that UNITAR will use in its training programs.
Serhiy Korsunskyi, Ukraine’s Ambassador to Japan, who was present at the memorandum signing ceremony, welcomed the agreement, emphasizing its importance for Ukrainian women currently in Poland who lack the opportunity to develop their personal skills.
According to the data of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, as of June 13, 994,775 Ukrainian refugees, including children and women, are in Poland due to the war launched by Russia against Ukraine.
According to the agreement, Pasona and UNITAR will jointly provide training programs to approximately 5,000 women and youth in sub-Saharan Africa.
