After announcing that testing of One UI 6 with Android 14 will begin in the third week of July, Samsung surprised users with the One UI 5.1.1 beta program. The novelty appeared unexpectedly on the Galaxy Z Fold 4, but will officially debut on the Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Tab S9 at the end of July.
One UI 5.1.1 is expected to roll out to most of Samsung’s foldable lineup, including some of the company’s tablets. For now, the One UI 5.1.1 beta has suddenly appeared on the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Samsung hasn’t confirmed which other models will get the beta. Around here, we expect the mainstream models of the Galaxy lineup to receive the beta before its official launch later in the year and before the start of One UI 6 testing. Therefore, the manufacturer should soon confirm which other models will receive the One UI 5.1.1 beta.
As previously mentioned, other than the Galaxy Z Fold 4, Samsung has not confirmed which other models will receive the new beta for testing purposes. We remember that the above list is not official and Samsung may decide not to release a beta for any other model in the Galaxy lineup (although this is unlikely). As the One UI 6 approach is first tested and One UI 5.1.1 is officially launched, Samsung is expected to expand testing of the operating system to more devices. At the moment, we can only wait for official confirmation from the South Korean company, and also look forward to what new features will be introduced in One UI 6, which has already begun to receive updated applications to support the new operating system based on Android 14.
