The next Samsung Unpacked will be held July 26 and the star of the event will be the new generation of foldable mobile phones from the South Korean giant Galaxy Z.

Samsung chose its home country for its dedicated conference. It’s the first time that these kinds of events will be held in Seoul “for its role in influencing global trends with its dynamic culture and innovation”, says the company. For this reason, the opening hours will change from the usual (13:00 in Spain) for the live broadcast on the company’s web portal and on its YouTube channel. The new Galaxy Z foldable phones will be the absolute star of the event. The same title image of the ad already confirms this. Samsung has been the absolute leader in this market segment since its inception, but alternatives have arrived from Motorola, Google itself with the recent Pixel Fold and Chinese manufacturers, so the South Korean giant wants to renew its commitment. Foldable devices are still a niche in smartphones, but there’s no doubt that it’s an emerging market to capture, and Samsung’s models are the contenders to beat. At least until Apple launches its first foldable.
