What was considered science fiction just a few years ago is now a reality thanks to the BMW Motorrad ConnectedRide smart glasses. The innovative motorcycle glasses offer the head-up display technology already known in the automotive sector and project all important data such as navigation, speed or transmission directly into the rider’s field of vision in real time, making driving particularly prudent and therefore more secure.

The BMW Motorrad ConnectedRide smart glasses can be easily connected to your smartphone via Bluetooth and an app. The projection and settings can be selected before the ride, as well as during the ride using the multi-controller on the motorcycle handlebars.

In addition to a personalized user interface and increased driving safety, smart glasses also provide a high level of comfort. The design of the smart glasses and the screen have been adapted to meet the special needs of motorcyclists. In addition, the BMW Motorrad ConnectedRide smart glasses can be adapted to different helmets and face shapes. Thanks to this, smart glasses are comfortable to wear even on long trips. The lithium-ion battery provides up to ten hours of operation.

BMW Motorrad also supplies two sets of UVA/UVB certified lenses with the frame. One set of lenses is 85% transparent and can be used specifically for helmets with integrated sun visors. The other set has polarized lenses that turn the smart glasses into the perfect pair of sunglasses.

For people who wear glasses, there is an RX adapter (+/- 4.5 diopters). It can be ordered online directly from the supplier. The corresponding QR code can be found in the user manual.

BMW Motorrad ConnectedRide smart glasses features:

• Available in two sizes (M and L) with different nose pads. Size M for interpupillary distance from 53 to 67 mm and size L for distance from 59 to 73 mm.

• Two sets of lenses (1 tinted lens and 1 lens with 85% transparency), built-in light sensor, certified UVA/UVB filter.

• RX adapter for adjusting lenses to the required visual acuity (up to a maximum of 4.5 diopters).

• Can be connected to a smartphone and the BMW Motorrad Connected App via Bluetooth.
