Undoubtedly, OWO and Ubisoft’s joint proposal with Assassin’s Creed Mirage is the most interesting, to say the leastbecause with a very interesting approach it solves something that the entire gaming ecosystem has been working on for a long time: the most immersive experiences, i.e. those that try to immerse us as much as possible in the game through the hardware used, so it is a more intense and interesting experience.

As a general rule, this is what we attempt to do by modifying already existing elementswhether with controls with haptic response to game events, with curved screens that extend what we see to the peripheral vision, or of course with virtual reality headsets, but also with positional sound systems, especially headphones that can transmit what we have the feeling that the sounds are being produced where the game pretends they are being produced. Thanks to these technologies, gaming can be a much more intense experience.

The OWO proposal is different and that’s why it’s so interesting, and that’s what we’re talking about a system that provides haptic feedback to the happenings and events of games in our own bodyand that’s thanks to the haptic shell, which, as you might have guessed, contains several strategically placed motors to mimic what we’d experience if we were actually performing the action emulated in the game.

Today, this Spanish technology has noticed something very important. And it is as we can see on his website, OWO has teamed up with Ubisoft to bring its technology to Assassin’s Creed Mirage, the long-awaited new game in the popular franchise, arriving on all major platforms on October 12th. With this title, Ubisoft intends to return to the beginnings of the saga by bringing us the culture of the Abbasids with the history of Baghdad.

As a result of this collaboration, OWO announced the release of Assassin’s Creed Mirage Edition, i.e. a custom edition of his haptic jacket that replicates the look of the game’s main character’s outfit, and which will also contain a code to download the title at no additional charge. In addition, according to the company, they are very actively working with Ubisoft to add new haptic reactions to the game’s movements and actions to make the experience even more complete.

OWO compatibility with the Mirage Edition is also only the first step in this collaboration because both companies are already working on expanding the immersive jacket experience to other corporate titleswhich is undoubtedly a very valuable support for OWO, which has already attracted a lot of interest and won some important awards, such as the Innovation Award at CES 2022.
