That Samsung seeks to develop new formats smartphones with folding and sliding screens Everyone knows. And this week during the event Show week, the South Korean manufacturer has shown prototypes that should hit the market soon. The most interesting thing was to see that a patent was already registered for several of the presented models.

Two new double fold and scroll in the Samsung portfolio

In 2021 Samsung patented double fold smartphone. Images from this patent have leaked into this one, showing folding in letter format (or boleto) in which two screens are “hidden” when cell closed and one missing. This is the first model seen in a commercial and the concept is called Flex C. It’s impressive how big the prototype screen is, leaving you wondering if it will have a soul smartphone or from the tablet. But one thing is certain: Standby mode (10 second video) great for professional use. You can leave the presentation on the “outside” screen while viewing the annotated slides and using the keyboard on other displays at the same time.

The following video shows two concepts expandable/scrollable screen smartphones (sliding in English). first it Vertical sliding, which differs from the already found patent. another it wide slidingwhose screen expands horizontally and is much larger than Vertical. Obviously, in the future, each of them will have their own niche. OUR wide appears to be more geared towards professional use (although the video shows a person watching a “movie”), while Vertical it’s more of a face smartphone for entertainment: a horizontally expandable screen can make a difference in a game or be a “plus” for watching series.
