Samsung launched in Brazil last Wednesday (19) Galaxy Pad, a service that allows users to remotely lock their Galaxy smartphones. Part of the Samsung Knox security ecosystem, the service offers an extra layer of security by protecting users’ personal data from misuse in the event of theft, theft or loss.



Cadeado Galaxy, developed in collaboration with Paymobi, allows you to completely lock your smartphone with a phone call or accessing a website from any device. To do this, the user only needs a CPF or CNPJ number and a personal password.

The Cadeado Galaxy service is offered as an annual plan with a one-time payment of BRL 39.90 or a two-year plan with a one-time payment of BRL 59.90. The service is available for Galaxy smartphones running One UI 2 (Android 10) or later.

As Samsung said at the launch of the tool in Brazil, the service is designed to block all data stored on the device in seconds, protecting applications that can be used for fraudulent purposes.



Knowing Samsung’s requirements for using Galaxy Lock

Owners of Galaxy S23 5G and Galaxy S22 5G smartphones, as well as Galaxy S21 FE 5G, Galaxy Z Fold4 5G, Galaxy Z Fold3 5G, Galaxy Z Flip4 5G and Galaxy Z Flip3 5G have free access to Galaxy Lock for 2 years. To use the service, simply request a license for free on the Cadeado Galaxy official website.

The service is available for all Galaxy smartphones that meet the following requirements: have an Android 10 operating system or higher, use original Samsung software, are manufactured in Brazil, and do not have a domain reservation or business management.

To activate the lock, the user needs to go to the Cadeado Galaxy website or call 4004-0000 (capitals and large centers) or 0800 555 0000 (other cities and regions), provide the subscriber’s KPF and registered secret password. The service operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
