Amazon launches palmist at Whole Foods in the US

Amazon One Palm payment technology will be available in more than 500 Whole Foods stores in the US by the end of 2023. The payment system works through a reader that reads the user’s palm. Once the card is registered, users can enjoy Prime benefits and make payments by simply placing their palm on the reader.

According to Amazon, One Palm payment is already working in about 200 Whole Foods stores. By the end of 2023, the company will migrate the payment system to the rest of the Whole Foods network in the US, which has more than 500 stores.
