The ministry added that police are currently investigating a hacker attack on Norwegian government institutions. Details of the incident are currently not available.
As reported, on July 16, the website of the Bulgarian Parliament was the target of an attack by the Russian hacker group NoName057(16). On the same day, the US Department of Energy and several other organizations were heavily attacked by Russian hackers who exploited a vulnerability in the software responsible for file transfer.
Also, in early July, Russian hacker group LockBit 3.0’s work was temporarily paralyzed as a result of a cyberattack on Japan’s largest cargo port.
