Activision has updated information about Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, the next sequel to the first-person shooter, which, as we already told you, will be published on November 10th for PC (Steam and Battle.net), PS4 and PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is one of the video games expected by the end of 2023. And it makes sense considering that CoD is one of the most successful franchises in the history of video games and its titles are among the most popular, among the most played among the triple A modes for multiplayer. Modern Warfare 3 is a direct sequel to Modern Warfare 2 and continues immediately after the events that took place in it and promises “a complete campaign of action-packed operations from exclusive cinematic experiences to open-ended, free-form combat missions, giving players more choice than ever before”. It will also contain what they call Open combat missionswhere players will be able to use more than one method to complete part of the campaign as if it were an open world.
Of course, the multiplayer mode aims to be the best of the game. To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the franchise, Modern Warfare III will bring together the largest collection of multiplayer maps. Lead developer Sledgehammer Games, in collaboration with Infinity Ward, has updated all 16 maps from Modern Warfare 2 (2009 Edition).
