The Construye Movement assured that “this fact requires the urgent and immediate intervention of the President of the Republic (Guillermo Lasso) and the Attorney General of the state in order to guarantee the life of presidential candidate Christian Zurita.”
The political formation believed that “omission in the face of this clear danger will decree the responsibility of the designated bodies, all the more so when the request for precautionary measures is under consideration by the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR)” in favor of Zurita.
