The company is part of electronics manufacturer JVCKenwood Corp. He said that he used old electric car batteries in the portable power sources he developed with him. and 4R Energy Corp., a company co-owned by Nissan and Sumitomo Corp.

The portable battery weighs 14.4 kg and is currently priced at 170,500 Yen (US$1,170) in Japan only.
