About a month ago, Sony confirmed the launch of two new subscription modalities for PlayStation Plus, a well-known service that many of our readers know is essential for playing online games on PS4 and PS5. These two new PlayStation Plus modes are labeled as “Extra” and “Premium”and differs by including a large number of games that we can enjoy when we are subscribed.

With PlayStation Plus in its standard version (“Essential”), the current mode will be maintained, which means it will stand EUR 59.99 per year (8.99 euros in a monthly payment). For that money we will enjoy the online mode, we will be able to download two free games and access discounts, among other things. The PlayStation Plus Extra modality will come at a price EUR 99.99 per year (€ 13.99 in monthly payment) and adds to all of the above a large number of triple A games that we can enjoy for free. Finally, we have the PlayStation Plus Premium mode, which adds classic games from previous generations. His price will be 119 euros per year (16.99 euros in monthly payment).

It sounds good on paper, but without knowing the exact game names we can enjoy in PlayStation Plus Extra and PlayStation Plus Premium, it’s hard to make an accurate and accurate estimate of the value that both plans actually offer.
